Schools Out ..

Wow the last day of term already, it has gone so quickly because it used to be the 6th January and now it is the 2nd April. On the last day of term it was only half a day so the day went quickly too. We did colouring, solving Easter puzzles (with a bit of maths) , watching Goodnight Mister Tom and last of all we went to assembly with all the school but without the boys.

I'm really excited to be going to Australia on the 10th April because I am going to see my friend who is called Ashleigh and it is a girls trip only. The only problem is that Mum has to carry all the bags and we are going for 3 weeks. On a normal trip when Dad goes with us,  he has to carry all the bags so my Mum has to be on another level of carrying bags! I am really excited to be going on a glamping trip with Ashleigh because it is going to be my first time ever going glamping. The other thing that were going to do is that me and Ashleigh are going to a surfing school called Manley Surf School . I don't know what it is like in Australia. Is it going to be hot or sweaty?  I don't know but the thing that I am really really REALLY happy about is that I get to see Ashleigh.

Gill's Blog: Last day of school today .. It is starting to feel very real....  I am just considering if it is really sensible for me to make a snuggle quilt for the plane for her... or will it be a step too far on the sewing front before we go !
