.. and we are off !!

Gill & Katie's Blog: We thought that together we would write one last blog before we head off to the airport .. We are all packed .. 4 hold bags, 2 carry-on bags, a handbag and a snuggle blanket .. We are all washed and polished ready to get onto the plane and for my very last task, Mum and Annie are cutting out hexagons from freezer paper so I can iron them onto fabric before I go and sew on the plane (I spoke to BA, can take a small needle on the plan) .. I don't know whether I really will sew, but I would like the option. I fear my family think I have lost the plot.

After calling BA daily we have not managed to change cabin to business using air miles.  This is sad but not disastrous.. we will slum it in Premium Economy .. it will not be such a shock when we travel back cattle class as that was all that was available ! lol .  Katie and I have spent today charging phones, kindles, ipads, camera - you name it ! So we are ready for at least 6 hours of multi device fun. 

Katie says that the first thing she is going to do on the plane is read a book .... I will be looking over my Duty Free purchases (it has to be done!!).. Keep safe .. Katie says "Adios Amigos  "
