Annie's Back !

Katie's Blog : Annie came back yesterday from Austria and everyone kept hugging her saying how we missed her. When she walked through the door Annie said that I had grown but for me I didn’t think I had grown but Annie proved me wrong. I like having a big Sis back at home because last night me and Annie kept on watching Sherlock Holmes all snuggled up with my snuggle blanket for the plane in Australia.

We were quite naughty because my bedtime is 21:00 and we watched Sherlock Holmes till 23:30, so Dad was pretty cross. On a normal night I read at 21:00 to 21:15, but last night I didn’t think Dad would let me. I did ask, but if you think about it dad would of said no and guess what he said, no.

I didn't have a great start to the morning today. NOT because firstly my friend Ciara texted me at about 07:45 and I only got 7 hours of sleep, but I just ignored it and went back to sleep, but at 08:30 my sisters cat Poppy came into my bedroom and put her paw on my ear and I jumped so that is why I didn’t have a great morning. At about 09:00 me, Annie and Mum went to M&S store to pick up my new clothes and Crocs for going away to Australia. Annie was the one picking up the packages whilst we stayed in the car.Annie brought back a couple bags of cookies for my Mum's friends that we were going see and for me and Annie. When we were at Lady Sew and Sew (it is a sewing shop in Henley) I was just playing on my iPad and Annie was just browsing and Mum was giving information about a show (Henley Arts Trail) that my Mum used to run but Lady Sew and Sew is going to do it this year. The rest was of the day was just laziness and watching television whilst Mum was packing the bags for Australia and before you say anything I got all my clothes out that I wanted to bring to Australia !

Gill's Blog : I am blessed with soo many lovely people in my life - wishing Katie and I a safe and happy trip. Thank You ALL. We are now all packed .. and we have alot of stuff !!  .. Katie continues to worry about who is carrying what .. but I think we will manage.. 

Annie's return has been the highlight of the past couple of days. We are incomplete without her (and her mess and cans of diet coke littering the place).. and of course Mike dropping by.. Katie and I will miss them and Brian.. but we will bring back lots of presents and be sending them messages every day so they can track our progress !  Only one more sleep to go now !
