Katie, Ashleigh & Stuarts Blog (catching up with what they did yesterday, they all wrote this blog this afternoon)
Yesterday, Ashleigh, Stuart and I went to the Easter Show. It was a really long, boring journey to get there. When we got there we went to McDonalds to have some breakfast even though we already had some. When we went inside we got a newspaper but it was so uncool that we just had to give it back to them. First we went to dog show. We watched a really awesome dog called Blaze saw into the sky and reach a fleuro yellow bone.
After that we went to the show bag hall. First Stuart went to get Jackson a Socceroo’s (Australian, football, team) show bag for his birthday. Then we went to get Stuart a delicious caramello koala bag. We went on a hunt to find me and Ashleigh’s show bags, it was hard to find them but then with a glimpse of my eye I saw the Cadbury and Candy World show bag stall. I got a Cadbury big bite and Ashleigh got a huge Candy world bag. Then we found the Darrell Lea stall, it was hard to find but we found it. Ashleigh got Jackson a Rocklea road show bag from the stall because we didn’t want to leave him out. But Stuart just couldn’t decide what he wanted but in the end he chose a Domo bag.
After the show bags we all went to the log ride like Lego land which was called pirates revenge .We went to the very to the very top of the slide and slid down as fast as a cheater. We went on this really fun ride called the break dancer, it spun round so fast that it felt like you were being chucked out the gate. We went on that ride several times because it was fun and it never got boring. Then when we had enough of spinning we went to Magic Circus it was a small house with many tricks that made you slow down such as escalators going backwards and tunnels that spin round. There was this ride called the caterpillar and it spun round forwards and backwards, we went on that cool ride twice. Our favourite ride was called Alien Abduction. We went into a UFO and got spun round 100mph. It went so fast that G-force struck and we hung upside down in the air without falling. We went get some more tickets from Paula (Stuarts mum) and then we went on the flying swings it went so far out that it felt like you were going to fall out of the chair. After that we went on one 9-D movie and one rocket movie. The rides were so fun.
When we got tired of the rides we decided to go and look at the animals. First we went to the sheep shed then we got to hold chicks and Ashleigh got to hold them for the longest. We looked at goats and cows but my favourite was the nursery were we got to pat piggies. They were so soft and cuddly but accidently Stuart patted a piggy when it was going to the loo. It was so fun the Easter Show and I really want to go there again.
Gill's Blog : Today is Jackson's Birthday .. We had cake for breakfast .. and are having pizza for tea !! Brian would enjoy it here !! We went off to Manly Sea Life Centre this morning .. for a Sea Horse Safari (which I'll let the kids tell you about tomorrow) .. and then after fish and chips (soo fresh it was still wiggling) Katie, Ashleigh and I mastered the Manly Buses (we caught a bus).. I was very proud of myself.. now I don't need to rely on Katharine for lifts .. much better ! Small things please me.
The weather has been soo much better today .. really sunny. I have spent alot of the afternoon reading out on the deck which is North facing (the equivalent to South facing at home) 'catching a few rays'. We are all packed for tomorrow's mini break off to the Blue Mountains.. The girls are bringing their quilts (how cool is that ?!). We are having afternoon tea at Lillenfells. We are already worrying about if the kids will be smart enough.. Have a look.!!

It sounds as if you're both having such a lovely time in Sydney ... I'm enjoying reading your daily blogs. Lots of love Cathy x
